There are many ways to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace.
But the most photogenic way?
Wear a hanbok and walk in like you accidentally time-traveled into a Korean historical drama.
Pink Hanbok is a hanbok rental shop located near Gyeongbokgung Station and Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of Seoul’s most iconic royal landmarks. The shop is listed at 137-3 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and promotes itself as a hanbok rental shop for palace visits and cultural experiences.
Travelers can rent traditional or stylish hanbok outfits, take photos around Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seochon, Gwanghwamun, and nearby historic streets, then return the outfit after their palace adventure.
If your Seoul trip needs one “main character moment,” this is it.

a week agoWe just returned from our 10-day South Korea trip, and wearing a hanbok while exploring a real palace was at the top of my must-experience list. We had shortlisted a few rental shops, including Pink Hanbok, but decided not to pre-book and instead started early in the morning. We reached just before 9 AM, so there was no rush. The staff were incredibly cordial and efficient, and their crowd management was impressive. Since we had already decided on our preferred colors and style, we were ready in around 15 minutes. The pricing was affordable too. And it was very close to Gyeongbokgung palace. Choosing Pink Hanbok turned out to be such a lovely decision. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but what touched us most was when we returned the hanbok — the staff thanked us in our own language. Such a thoughtful gesture in a foreign country made the experience even more beautiful.
